Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez

I absolutely adore the looks sent down the Proenza Schouler F/W Ready-to-Wear runway this year! The forms are amazing- the balance between being playful and serious was done perfectly. I love the play on volume in this collection, there are a lot of pieces that very nearly cross the line of being too oversized, but don't. The first look for example- that jacket is perfection. It has a super cool structure and look at those sleeves!

I think what is truly amazing about this collection is that an older woman could wear the pieces and would look really polished, while a younger woman could also wear them and look fantastically chic. Some of the pieces are really quite timeless and would be wardrobe staples if I lived in a country with a colder climate!

(Also, plus points for it being an almost monochromatic collection.)
